Wearable light. Light-infused water. Start with one.
LifeWave brings its phototherapy technology into two daily routines: a patch you wear and water you prepare at home. Look at X39 for a simple wearable format, or X2O for filtration, hydrogen enrichment and light processing in one countertop system. Here is how to choose, what the research supports, and what an order involves.
PATCHES OR WATER · CHOOSE A LINE
A small, sealed patch that fits into your day without charging or mixing. LifeWave describes its patches as reflecting infrared energy from your body back toward the skin, with no drugs or stimulants entering the body.

Prepare two 450 ml glasses in about 45 minutes, without connecting it to your kitchen tap.
Choose this line for a daily water routine at home. Available in the US, except California, Wisconsin and Iowa.See the X2O system →My starting recommendation is X39 if you are curious about the patches: it gives you one product to understand before considering combinations. For X2O, look at the household costs and its separate return terms. Check availability in your market →

You wear the patch
For X39, apply one patch to clean, dry skin in a recommended location and wear it for up to 12 hours. Follow the product’s instructions and cautions.
Your body supplies the infrared
Your body gives off infrared energy. The patch is designed to capture some of it and reflect selected wavelengths toward the skin, without a battery or external light source.
Different patches, different aims
The company gives each patch a different wellness purpose. That is the design rationale; the evidence for each product needs to be considered separately.

The objections worth taking seriously
COST · EVIDENCE · THE MLM QUESTION · IF IT DOES NOTHINGIsn’t it expensive?
That depends what you are setting it against. X39 is USD 99.95 a month on a subscription you can cancel whenever you like — one patch a day, so USD 3.33 a day — or USD 149.95 for a one-off box of 30, which is USD 5.00 a day. Some people read a monthly figure like that as a cost to be justified; others count it as part of what they already spend on looking after themselves. Both are fair, and which one you are is not something this page can tell you — the last card is why you get to decide it after a month or more, rather than before.
Is there any real evidence?
More than this industry usually offers. The most relevant piece of it is this: a randomised, double-blind trial tested the X39 patch itself against a control group — the finished product people actually buy, not an ingredient studied in isolation — in 60 adults aged 40 to 80, and it reported a positive result on the marker it set out to measure. The paper does not say what the control group wore. What the result does not have yet is independent replication: nobody outside that research group has repeated it. LifeWave has registered a larger placebo-controlled trial on ClinicalTrials.gov, and its results will need to be assessed once they are available.
Isn’t this an MLM?
There is an MLM component to LifeWave, and it is not hidden here: this site is run by an independent LifeWave Brand Partner who may earn a commission when someone buys through the links on it. It does not change what you pay, and none of it asks anything of you: you can buy as an ordinary retail customer, a single order, no subscription, nothing to join and nobody to recruit.
And if it does nothing for me?
Then send it back. LifeWave's terms give a first-ever LifeWave order 90 days from the ship date, refunded in full less shipping, with nothing to send back. X2O has a shorter return policy — see the X2O page for that one. Worth knowing for later: restocks run on a tighter 30 days and need the product unopened, and LifeWave applies the policy order by order.
